[users@httpd] apachectl and Red Hat
Hi,
Does anone knows why apachectl script (from compilation) doesn't work
with chkconfig in Red Hat (and alike) systems ?
Any tweak needed ?
Any help would be apreciated.
Warm Regards.

That's because apachectl isnt an init script.
In redhat you can bind apachectl too in /usr/sbin/apachectl
The best way, is to copy /etc/init.d/httpd and adapt for your needs.
