Gerald,
This was happening to my patches using Eclipse 3.1 and Subclipse. I upgraded subclipse and it stopped. I forget the subclipse version number, hope this helps.

Mario Ivankovits commented on TOMAHAWK-224:
-------------------------------------------
This type of patch is very strange - and dangerous. It replaces the whole file instead of patching only the code in question.
Looks like some sort of different white-space (tab, eol, ...) setting, no?

Martin Marinschek commented on TOMAHAWK-224:
--------------------------------------------
Just to clear up the confusion.
NO, I haven't implemented what Jacob got into JSF 1.2. so far.
NO, we can't implement it without breaking the TCK, as the TCK checks for all public and protected methods and their signatures in a very exhaustive test, and won't allow an added one which shouldn't be there.
So if we want to implement this, the TCK will need to be changed.
regards,
Martin
