[jUDDI-developers] Deploying jUDDI on Axis

Here are instructions to get jUDDI working on Axis:
1. setup Tomcat
2. setup Axis alpha 3 (they have a good step by step installation page that
should be followed)
3. copy juddi.jar and uddi4j.jar (and xerces.jar, but that should have
happened in step 2) to tomcat/webapps/axis/WEB-INF/lib
4. start Tomcat
5. 'deploy' juddi to axis (this step adds a few lines to an axis config
file) using the attached deploy_juddi.wsdd. Make sure that xerces.jar,
axis.jar and log4j-core.jar are in your classpath, and run:
java
org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient -lhttp://localhost:8080/axis/services/Adm
inService deploy_juddi.wsdd

You should be all set to receive UDDI requests on
http://localhost:8080/axis/servlet/AxisServlet

(Believe it or not, but this is my second attempt at sending this message ..
the first one contained a deploy.bat that had step 5 in it, outlock
complained but let me send it, then something between me and sourceforge
decided that my email shouldn't go through because it looked like a virus.

RE: [jUDDI-developers] Deploying jUDDI on Axis (UPDATE)

Posted by Alex Ceponkus <al...@ceponkus.org>.
Noticed a bug in the deployment descriptor that I had attached before.
Please use this one instead. This file will eventually make it into CVS
when a proper place is found.

The packaged up juddi webapp has been fixed to reflect the updated wsdd:
