[users@httpd] view contents of another server via web browser.

Hi all.

I've set up the Apache web server (2.0.43) on a Win NT4 server - okay with
no problems.

What I need to do now, if possible, is view (in a web browser) the contents
of directories on other servers (Unix & NT).
I thought VirtualHost was the way forward but after reading the manual again
I'm not so sure.
The environment is set within an intranet, with a proxy server (not Apache)
blocking access to the outside world.

Could someone suggest an approach to achieve this, or just tell me I'm
wasting my time.

TIA.

Michael Simpson

Posted by Jeff Cohen <ap...@gej-it.com>.
Just map the directories and use the remote machine's user to start Apache's
service in order to auth to remote machine.

All the best,
