[jira] [Issue Comment Deleted] (HADOOP-15860) ABFS: Trailing period in file names gets ignored for some operations.

Sean Mackrory updated HADOOP-15860:
-----------------------------------
    Comment: was deleted

(was: Trying to write a test that reproduces all the nuances here. Weirdly, I can't get the integration tests to run. With "mvn -T 1C -Dparallel-tests -DtestsThreadCount=8 verify" I used to be able to run all serial & parallel ABFS & WASB unit and integration tests with the attached (sanitized) config, and now it doesn't seem to work. Possibly some Maven-fu I'm not getting... Looks like [~stevel@apache.org] has done most of the more recent committing - know what I'm missing?

edit: Oh! It's the =both. Nevermind...)

> If you create a directory with a trailing period (e.g. '/test.') the period is silently dropped, and will be listed as simply '/test'. '/test.test' appears to work just fine.
