Sorry for the lack of log info on these recent commits.  They are all 
for the new DAS sample.  When I tried to commit in bulk from Subclipse I 
was getting strange errors ... adds would occur but no final commit.  
When I tried to commit piecemeal things went OK, but I neglected to add 
comments.
