[Bug 3103] New: spamd ignores spamc timeout

http://bugzilla.spamassassin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3103

           Summary: spamd ignores spamc timeout
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: 2.63
          Platform: Sun
        OS/Version: Solaris
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: spamc/spamd
        AssignedTo: spamassassin-dev@incubator.apache.org
        ReportedBy: Gunther.Heintzen@rrze.uni-erlangen.de

We use SpamAssassin 2.63.

We run spamc with option -t 180 and spamd with option -m 210
but often there are some spamd daemons running longer than 10 minutes.

Our spamd daemons run on solaris8 and solaris9 servers.

We use DCC and Razor2.

The timeouts are razor_timeout 100, dcc_timeout 100.
All other timeout are default.

Because if spamc terminates after 180 seconds and many spamd daemons are
still running, we reach sometimes the max-children limit.

spamd[21391]: hit max-children limit (210): waiting for some to exit

What goes wrong?
