   ## Summary
   This PR intends to pave the way for enabling Protected Mode support on Xtensa-based platforms by providing the implementation for the required syscalls.
   
   Currently there is no privilege handling for isolating the Kernel from the Userspace, which may be implemented later.
   
   ## Impact
   Xtensa-based platforms, but only when `CONFIG_BUILD_PROTECTED` is selected.
   
   ## Testing
   Successful execution of `ostest` on `esp32-devkitc` with `CONFIG_BUILD_PROTECTED` enabled (currently work-in-progress).
