The m2 repository is available at:
http://people.apache.org/~ruwan/synapse/2.0.0/m2_repo/

Sample 700 configuration should also be fixed. It hasn't been updated
with the recent changes done to the Synapse configuration language.

Re: [VOTE] Release Synapse 2.0.0

Posted by Ruwan Linton <ru...@gmail.com>.
I found another issue with site styling on the download page, will fix that
too, though it could have been fixed later as well.

Planning to repost the vote within next couple of hours, folks any other
issues?

Thanks,
Ruwan

Re: [VOTE] Release Synapse 2.0.0

Posted by Ruwan Linton <ru...@gmail.com>.
Well, reading the documentation of the transports catalog,
http://people.apache.org/~ruwan/synapse/2.0.0/site/transports.html I think
we should ship fix transport and let users to add the quickfixj jar files to
get it to work.

That is at least the least change for the time being. So I will add fix
transport and repost an RC.

Any other issues?

I guess there is no point in shipping fix transport without the quickfixj
jar files right? I will add that as a download.

Hi Ruwan,

The FIX transport (synapse-fix-transport.jar) is not available in the
binary distribution. I think we only decided to leave out Quickfix/J
jars from the binary, isn't it?

If we are not shipping the transport, then we need to provide some
other means of distributing the transport. May be in the site? I think
we need to fix this.

Thanks,
Hiranya

Great news Ruwan! I’ll see to give the binary a quick test tomorrow and will also have a cursory look at the maven site.
