Cluster Test Plan

Does anyone have a test plan they have used to follow when testing out a new cluster configuration?  Things like instance down and restart making sure older updates are processed correctly on the restarted instance, load testing, etc.

We are moving from a primary/replication environment to 3 or 4 node cluster.  First time I have set up this environment and just looking to make sure I have thoroughly tested what we have built.
