This would be quite handy. Generally pooling configs are not hardcoded, but specified in a config and then passed to the GenericKeyedObjectPoolFactory/GenericObjectPoolFactory. It would be handy to allow a user to load all these configuration from a property file.
a new constructor would be needed: GenericKeyedObjectPoolFactory(property)
or even better GenericKeyedObjectPoolFactory(URL)
