* Matt: not typical “netiquette” but reach out to PMC members privately if you wish.
* Matt would like someone other than himself (who proposed the project as an IBMer) to help steward the project through graduation steps. Rodric would be his candidate as he is the most recognized and respected committer with the largst depth and breadth of project knowledge and has servers as a release manager.
* Rodric: no comment at this time.
* **Tagged build Inconsistency** (Vincent)
* * Mainly runtimes (Ruby and Go?) not consistent in tagging releases, causing Travis automation failures (automated release process)
* Vincent added better instructions on tagging and now recommends “manual” process for release managers
* Automated should be fine if “config.json” is properly updated, and checked into GitHub
* Matt: but window exist where it can be overwritten (since VOTEs at incubator level are quite long sometimes) and therefore manual mode (with verification may be better).
* Matt: also, with Knative crossover work, our runtime images in Docker look inconsistent and should all have tags that match across apache TARs, Github and Docker images (convenience binaries).
* Other topics:
* * Chetan: some gradle changes to address “http” isssues raised by Apache and also upgrade Java JDK; needs to be coord. across all repos. if we do this. any builds that ref. JDK8 would be affected
* Matt: excited about Knative client finally converging and issued 0.1 release; plug-ins next which we coul possibly use to add OW resource plugins for…. experiment with that is.
* Runtimes updates:
* * Vincent will address (open issues) for Runtmes that do not have conformant tags
