help required on attachment issue

Hi, 

I have developed a Webservice and a client using Axis1.1, 
Web Service is a simple file manager. Client requests to retrieve a file 
and WS will 
respond with file as an attachement and returns a string. 

eg: "Successful" -> if the requested file exists  and sends the file as 
MIME attachment

"Failed" -> if the requested file is not found and on file will be sent.

The only problem is: the String (msg) returned by the service is null. 
When 
I remove the attachment-stuff from my service, everything is working 
nicely,

I am able to receive the failed message. but i am not able to receive 
sucessful message. the only difference i see is 
in succesful secenario service is sending a file as an attachment and in 
failed scenario there are no attachments.



What am I doing wrong ?
