[jira] [Created] (HIVE-26351) Hive version and metadata version do not correspond

hunter created HIVE-26351:
-----------------------------

Summary: Hive version and metadata version do not correspond
                 Key: HIVE-26351
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-26351
             Project: Hive
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: hunter
         Attachments: image-2022-06-23-10-29-23-131.png, image-2022-06-23-10-31-29-134.png

When I use hive3.1.x, the metadata and the information printed by cli all point to hive 3.1.0. Such display confusion will cause me to read the metadata information when using some external packages, resulting in inconsistent versions. I wonder if the problem is a bug or is it designed that way? !image-2022-06-23-10-29-23-131.png!
