Help with a simple formatter

Hi,

I was wondering if one of the folks that know a lot more than me could help me out.  I posted a question over at StackOverflow

I'm pulling the data but as you can see in my code I parse a JSON object on the fly and that is where I would like to show my highlight formatting.  There are two fields that I would like to highlight the search terms,  Funding Opportunity Purpose and Funding Opportunity Title.

If anyone couple help me out that would be deeply appreciated.

I'm using 3.0.3
