It seems to be a problem with Xalan. The XMLUtils.serializeNode sets the output
format on the transformerHandler. This output format contains a
omit-xml-declaration=true as a default property but the result written by the
transformerHandler is <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>POST. The
transformerHandler instance used is
org.apache.xalan.transformer.TransformerIdentityImpl...

The CInclude transformer, not recognizing this as a POST, defaults to the GET
method.
