Is this normal?

Below is a part of what I see when I run the top command on my linux
machine. The application is not very large, 20 people connected at one time
at the very most. It seems like the amount of memory used grows very very
slowly over several days. Is this normal? I am using linux redhat 7.1 and
tomcat 3.2.4.
