i guess your email could be a starting point for a web
page or even for a section in "the svn book".
as i mentioned, i am not supposed to be paid for
being an svn sysadmin that can spend hours
experimenting towards the best backup technique.

that's the idea i was looking for! instead of a DB, i
guess writing to a file would do.
