Calling a servlet of a different app within same TC

Hi all,

Can I navigate from one servlet, call it exampe1Servlet, of an application,
call it exampleApp1 to a servlet example1Servlet in exampleApp2 using the
requestdispatcher and keeping the session alive, that means example1Servlet
of exampleApp2 gets the session of example1Servlet in exampleApp1 ?
Everything clear ?  

How should I do this best ?
