Axis C++ client over https/ssl?

I cannot seem to find any information on using Axis C++ over SSL
(i.e. HTTPS).  Is this even possible?

I need to create a client capable of consuming services over an
SSL-encrypted channel.

Dimitha just created the ssl layer (don't know what it uses). It should be
docced soon?
