> I think this must be an issue running under jdk 1.5 only. It shows up on Mac OS X and Linux 1.5 jvms. Remove and gc() were stumbling over each other and invalidating the iterator. I broke them apart a bit to avoid the exception. Thanks to Alan Robbins for help tracking this down.
