In HBase, each RegionServer will host a set of Regions and both of them keep track of the read/write requests metrics. So total number of read/write requests among all the Regions shall be equal to the total number from the RegionServer. We shall optimize the code to remove the redundant metrics in the RegionServer level, and merge the Region level metrics into the RegionServer level.
