I would say, don't worry about simple-demo...we should really remove
that sample as it's quite outdated.

If the espblog sample works, that's IMHO a good example of how to use Sling.

The webloader sample shows the use of a separate bundle for Java
services, which can be interesting if you're not familiar with OSGi.

I'm afraid those are the only really useful general samples that we
have a the moment.

Thanks for your reply. The sample webloader works fine too.

It's a great idea to combine jcr, rest and osgi togethter. Going to do more
exploration into Sling.
