As discussed in [this thread|http://is.gd/MZUN49], the dependency on native thrift_devel might be redundant, as it seems new HAWQ is using its schema compiler via Java APIs. If so, let's remove thus dependency, because an external mandatory source code dependency doesn't sit well with Apache release expectations.
