api to import network acl rules
Hello
I have a network acl which has around 800 rules. i want to create another
network acl with these rules along with some extra rules. Is there a way to
just copy all these 800 rules from one network acl to another one?
I see the export acl's button but there is no option to import it. Is there
any other simple way?

Thanks and regards
Rakesh

Hi Rakesh,
That's not possible now but a good new feature idea. As Daan mentioned, the quickest way would be to write a script and use cmk to create rules in a new ACL list, the option can be DB hack.
If changing the ACL list is not required then between networks you can explore
https://cloudstack.apache.org/api/<https://cloudstack.apache.org/api/apidocs-4.15/apis/replaceNetworkACLList.html>apidocs<https://cloudstack.apache.org/api/apidocs-4.15/apis/replaceNetworkACLList.html>-4.15/apis/replaceNetworkACLList.html<https://cloudstack.apache.org/api/apidocs-4.15/apis/replaceNetworkACLList.html>
Regards.

good feature request would that be, Rakesh.
I think your best option is to process the exported acl list into a set of
cloudmonkey commands and process these in a script.
