system jdk, netbeans run on

openjdk 17 2021-09-14
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 17+35-Ubuntu-120.04)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 17+35-Ubuntu-120.04, mixed mode, sharing)

 

projects jdk used for build

openjdk 11.0.11 2021-04-20
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 11.0.11+9-Ubuntu-0ubuntu2.20.04)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 11.0.11+9-Ubuntu-0ubuntu2.20.04, mixed mode, sharing)

 

Netbeans 12.6 installed from https://snapcraft.io/netbeans
            Reporter: Oleksandr Demura
         Attachments: netbeans-error-IDE-Log.txt, netbeans-error-UI-Log.xml

netbeans 12.6 is run on openjdk-17,

the gradle project is build by openjdk-11,

opened the project, switched the jdk to jdk-11 in projects settings, run "build" (previously mostly helped with the problem)

the "Backgroung scanning of projects..." got to 81% but stopped there,

after a few hours clicked "abort" of the task,

netbeans notified of the error, provided the "Report Problem" / "Data" window with two tabs

"UI Log" and empty "IDE Log".
"IDE Log" tab in "Output" has data.
