   ... and this mix of things propagates into the build classpath, dependency
   imports/ exports, etc. making it very difficult to reason about what is
   what in dependencies.
   
   Things like integration test fixtures can be implemented in an elegant way
   with gradle (dependsOn
   startFixtureTask,integTest.finalizedBy(closeFixtureTask)),
   but it's still a long way before we get there with the current state of
   tests...
