[jira] [Commented] (NETBEANS-2973) Code analysis tools settings in
project
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-2973?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16904752#comment-16904752 ]
Tomáš Procházka commented on NETBEANS-2973:
-------------------------------------------
Configuration of these tools is shared using configuration files in project root, so not to have this level of configuration is not a problem.
The issue is that script location of tools can't be configured in project settings. This means, that when you are working on different projects with different versions of tools (installed in project directory), than the only way to use tool from specific project is to change path in NetBeans Options - PHP - Code Analysis.
I can try prepare PR for this feature, inspired by Codeception/PHPUnit settings in project, OK?

> Key: NETBEANS-2973
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-2973
> Project: NetBeans
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: php - Code Analysis, php - Project
> Affects Versions: 11.1
> Reporter: Tomáš Procházka
> Priority: Minor
>
> Currently settings of Code Sniffer/Coding Stnadards Fixer/Mess Detector/PHPStan is only possible globaly in Tools - Options - PHP - Code Analysis.
> Having ability to set Code Analysis in project in same way as it is possible for testing tools (Codeception, PHPUnit) would be great help when working on different projects with these tools installed in project directory using composer.
