[jira] [Commented] (GORA-278) Upgrade Cassandra to 2.x
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GORA-278?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13825339#comment-13825339 ]
Lewis John McGibbney commented on GORA-278:
-------------------------------------------
Looks like this will be addressed as part of GORA-245. It is impossible for us to upgrade Avro in gora-cassandra without upgrading Cassandra deps to 2.0.2 as well. I'll include my fix for this in my patch for that issue.

> Apart from the fact that 2.x was released some months ago, there are other nasty issues like CASSANDRA-4097 which make working with new (1.7.X) Avro and older (1.1.X, 1.2.X) Cassandra dependencies difficult.
> This is something for the 0.5 drive :)
