The ChangeCollectorProvider currently includes hidden items into the ChangeSet, which are not needed for JCR observation. In most cases the changes will not include hidden items anyway because the ChangeCollectorProvider is usually configured to run before index update editors. There are commits however that may contains hidden items. E.g. the async index update will update mostly hidden items.
