[jira] [Updated] (OAK-11461) DocumentNodeStoreService - setClusterInvisible via config
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-11461?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Niek Raaijmakers updated OAK-11461:
-----------------------------------
Description:
We want to be able to start a [DocumentNodeStore|https://jackrabbit.apache.org/oak/docs/apidocs/org/apache/jackrabbit/oak/plugins/document/DocumentNodeStore.html] that does NOT process any sling events or sling jobs.
This way, a ephemeral instance can be started and used for directed tasks such as installing JCR packages, and quickly disposed, without attempting to process any sling jobs / events in the cluster.
The default value should be false, so that normal instances are subject to process these events / jobs by default.
Marking the instance as non discoverable should:
* for sling.discovery : it ignores those, so they will not be expose in the topology
* for sling.event: instance is not part of the topology it can’t be assigned any sling jobs to
was:
We need to make it possible to make a documentnodestore instance cluster invisible via a configuration.
The default value should be false.
