this does sound useful, I'd like to see that.

I'd say add a new API for it -- int message_parse_string(unsigned char *buf, int
len, int flags, struct message *m)?   and adding a new type will probably be
required.  I'd say don't worry about BSMTP, just RAW.

Also, we'd need a signed/faxed Contributor License Agreement -- see
http://www.apache.org/licenses/ ...
