searching a binary content

All,

How do we search a particular keyword in binary content. I have file nodes
in my repository which contains XML, pdf and .doc files etc.

I want to search these nodes using some keywords in the binary content.

Can anyone provide some sample code for this ??

Regards,
Shan

the properties do not "really" have size limitations others than given
by the jvm and persistence database.

Value into string properties

Posted by hsp_ <pi...@ibest.com.br>.
Hello;
I would to know if the value stored in a property of type string has some
size limitation.
I was thinking on put in such propertie a text in html format. Will this
propertie suport this value, I mean, not only a phrase like "this is the
text in the property", but something like:
"This is the value in the property
<t>List of itens covered in this section:
 One
 Two
...."

Or, do I this in a binary value and store it in an jcr:content/jcr:data?
Thanks,
Helio.
