ApacheCon Asia 2021

The CFP[1] will be closed May 3rd.
Does anyone want to present a talk showcasing Bigtop?
We got several talks submitted to FOSDEM early this year however not
accepted. ApacheCon would be a great place to present our works.

Thanks for the comments, Evans and Luca.
Kengo and I submitted the abstract of Bigtop 3.0 talk to both ApacheCon and ApacheCon Asia.

I think there's no conflict and in the arm/ mpack/wiki joint talk, you can
also mention about bigtop 3.0 breifly, and instruct audience that there's a
more detailed talk which will be presented by kengo/masatake, and vice
versa.

Connections in both talks make them look like a series, which creates
synergy of the impact.

Hi Kengo!

From my point of view both can be submitted at the same time, but I'll
also let Yuqi comment as well :)

Also it is sooo nice to know that Bigtop 3.0.0 is going to be released
soon-ish, really nice!

Hi Yuqi and Luca,

Sorry for the short notice, but Masatake and I also would like to
submit a proposal.
Our main topic will be an introduction of Bigtop 3.0.0 (which is
supposed to be released before the conference, hopefully),
so if you're going to talk about Mpack and Wikimedia's usecase mainly,
they don't conflict, I think.

We'd like to take part in ApacheCon Asia rather than ApacheCon @Home
because of timezone,
but just in case, we're planning to submit the same proposal to both of them.
But if you think our theme seems to conflict with yours, we can avoid
the conference to which you're going to submit a proposal
and submit only to the other. So let us know if we should do so ;)

Hi!

My bad, I am a bit busy these days at work, plus I am finishing the
blog post and I didn't have the time to follow up with Yuqi about
Apachecon. I'll try to review everything during the weekend and get
back to this thread, but I think that another joint talk like the
Linaro's one should be good!

Hi Evans,

Luca and I have presented a joint talk in Linaro virtual connect
2021(LVC21).
We also would like to refine this proposal and submit it to ApacheCon in
the next week.
Thanks.

BRs,
Yuqi
