Bundle state monitor

Hi list,

(I'm not subscribed to the list; please keep me in CC!)

Lacking a better bundle state monitor I wrote a small shell script[1].
It simply logs into the karaf console via SSH and lists all OSGi
bundles. This list is then diffed against a previous list and a mail is
sent in case of differences.

I admit it is not pretty in any way, but I've searched hi and low for
other methods. How do you monitor your ServiceMix installations?

Hi Martin,

It depends what you ant to monitor.

1/ We provide a WebConsole (Karaf and ServiceMix)
2/ You can use the "client" Karaf script to execute command on the instance
3/ You can use JMX (and the associated MBean), via any JMX client (as
jconsole)

Regards
JB
