Patch for trunk.
With the patch the output is as below
1) clone_snapshot with existing table.

hbase(main):005:0> clone_snapshot 'myTableSnapshot-122112','table'

ERROR: Table already exists: table!

2) put with unknown column family.
{code}
hbase(main):008:0> put 't1', 'r1', 'unknow_cf', 'value'

ERROR: Unknown column family! Valid column names: f1:*
