[jira] [Created] (HDDS-9386) [hsync] Redesign the lease recovery protocol so block length is updated correctly at OM

Wei-Chiu Chuang created HDDS-9386:
-------------------------------------

Summary: [hsync] Redesign the lease recovery protocol so block length is updated correctly at OM
                 Key: HDDS-9386
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDDS-9386
             Project: Apache Ozone
          Issue Type: Sub-task
            Reporter: Wei-Chiu Chuang

We are redesigning the lease recovery protocol to help improve hsync/hflush latency performance.

The basic idea is to not update block length at every hsync/hflush. Instead, do it when the key commits, or as part of lease recovery.
