Now metrics reporter only support datadog, jmx, Graphite, once user want to add their own metrics it will be difficult(our team is using new-relic), also, not everyone want that dependencies they don't want added in hudi components. So I suggest to having a user defined metrics reporter will be better to monitoring the metrics everywhere
