Connecting to Apache

Hey there;
    I have established two namesavers and have installed apache software....I 
can't figure out what it takes for me to access my index.html file from the 
internet using my domain name........

Mac, that's a somewhat sparse description. I assume you're already aware that
Apache will find your index.html file by default so long as it's within the
configured root directory (ie, ./htdocs if the default is used)?  Have you tried
first entering the URL of your webpage using the IP address of your box?

hmmm, more info helps, like the .onf of apache.
can you get to it with 127.0.0.1?
have you set the docroot for the server?
