User Repository Question
Here is another fundamental question as we move forward from converting to
SVN.
I can see where I can set up http basic authentication on an individual user
basis - how does Subversion track commits (and any comments/messages put in)
by user?
Does it pick-up on this occurring at the http server level?
Thanks in advance!

AFAIK, it uses the user that you logged into the server with.
if the server doesnt require a username to commit, then svn doesnt get one
and the commit is empty (author wise)
