Solr meet-up "Solr 9" will be held very soon (19:00 PDT, today)

Hi everyone!

Today, we, Solr community in Tokyo, will hold an online meet-up at 11:00 JST (19:00 PDT).
The topics are new features of Solr 9 and others.

1. Neural Search in Apache Solr
Elpidio Gonzalez @RONDHUIT
Dense vs. sparse vector representation, Ranking documents in neural search using KNN, Apache Solr
Dense Vector implementation, Indexing Vectors, Knn Query Parser, Demo

2. Solr 9 Scalability: Node Roles and the Replica Placement Plugin
Ixai Lanzagorta @RONDHUIT
In this talk we'll take a look at two new features for SolrCloud scalability introduced in Solr
9.0.0. With the help of a demo, we'll explore how they can be used to limit or influence the
placement of shard replicas in specific nodes in a SolrCloud cluster.

3. Solr Backups
Artem Abeleshev @RONDHUIT
Type of backups, Collection backup, Sync vs async, Files generated

4. AI Measures and Policies using Solr for LIFULL HOME'S (tentative) (Japanese)
Taisuke Miyazaki @LIFULL
Searching utilizing AI: its processes and tasks. How we have tackled and solved them

The participation link: https://meet.google.com/wed-wvqh-kgp

We usually don't announce our meet-up here because the speakers speak Japanese,
but this time, 75% of speakers have their speeches in English, so we wanted to announce it.

Sorry for short notice, but please join us if you have time.

Thanks!

Koji
