Regarding transparency of color

Hi,
I wish to use fillRect method such that the color in the rectangle should be
translucent. More like a highlight. But when I specify color in the
setNonStrokingColor method, the alpha factor is not taken into
consideration.

Can someone help me in adding transparency to a color?
