I don't think this has been solved, there is a workaround  :

prevent Tomcat from trying to persist these sessions across restarts.
Go to your tomcat conf directory, there should be a file called context.xml
which has the following snippet in it :

<!-- Uncomment this to disable session persistence across Tomcat restarts
-->
<!-- <Manager pathname="" /> -->

If you uncomment the Manager element the error messages should go away.
