sa-vm1 -> sa-vm migration today

Notice, will start migrating sa-vm1 to sa-vm.apache.org in an hour or two.

ruleqa.spamassassin.org and rsync.spamassassin.org might be down for a bit.
Shouldn't affect much else.

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-20449

Good luck. Did you get the backups setup or need me to do that?

Recm6end you shutdown vm1 or put it in single user mode..

We can compare the cron output to old crons.

Lmk if you need help with the wiki updates. That is probably my number one
concern.

After 2 weeks of good crons we can decomm vm1.

Thinking about it, it's probably SSL config. I used intermediate setup from
https://ssl-config.mozilla.org/ which might not be compatible with darxuses
(old?) client. Switched config to old compatible, which is fine as ruleqa
isn't a sensitive service.

It makes zero difference where a query is made, ruleqa.cgi returns exactly
the same response.

As noted in my later message: The script runs just fine from my own
machine, so it's something more subtle than not following the redirect.
It uses LWP::Simple->get() which apparently handles the redirect.

As for running on an external server, that has the advantage of
providing an entirely unprivileged view of updates, e.g. just like any
normal user.

False alarm. I can run the script and get the proper output. It's not
clear what broke it the past 2 mornings.

Nicely done.  Can you add a to-do section to the InfraNotes 2020 wiki?

It seems mkupdate-with-scores runs sa-update/lint tests for multiple
versions, currently 3.4.1 - 3.4.4. But it proceeds even if only one of them
succeeds. It would seem more appropriate to require all of them passing to
publish rules. Also trunk should be added for testing.

I'll leave that up to someone else, as I'll be on indefinite hiatus from the
project from now on. I'll keep monitoring sa-vm for a little while. Have
fun. :-)

I'll leave that up to someone else, as I'll be on indefinite hiatus from the
project from now on. I'll keep monitoring sa-vm for a little while. Have

LTS or not
