Hi,
I've also similar problem with PdfBox1.8.6 version. Please let me know work around if you have any. 

Please find the logs below. 

org.apache.pdfbox.pdmodel.font.PDSimpleFont drawString
WARNING: Changing font on <?> from <BEEYCY+Wingdings> to the default font
