Commit rights for Tamaya
Hi,
how do I know that I have commit rights for Tamaya? According to the
commiters guide [1] it can take a week or two. So I have simply to wait?

I would recommend that everyone try committing your PGP keys to the repo as
a test. Assuming you've receive an ldap account (I think I saw 5 fly by),
those in the incubator will have commit access to the git repo.

I added now my anatole with anatole@apache.org as well. Would be great if
you can move things from atsticks to anatole (and add anatole to Tamaya) ;)

@John is there a possibility to change the atsticks account to anatole, so
it matches the Apache id. Or should I open another one?
I myself cannot login to JIRA with the Apache id as well, but with my
former atsticks account, it works.

BTW, there is one thing in Git we all should set in addition to the to
properties mentioned by Anatole:
git config --local --add core.autocrlf input [1]
Setting core.autocrlf will help us to avoid merge conflicts.

Basically after you got the email from root with your login data, setup
your account as described in the email. I also added PGP and ssh public
keys.
Then you have to setup git. User and email can be set by calling
git config user.name USER
git config ser.email USER@apache.org
Your password can be set by adding a *~/.netrc *(Linux) or *%HOME%/_netrc*
(Windows) file with the following contents
(of course replace USER and PASS with your data):
machine git-wip-us.apache.org login USER password PASS
This worked perfectly (the initial source tree is now checked in and I can
remove now the repo from GH).
