[jira] Commented: (SHINDIG-99) Samples in javascript/container don't work

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SHINDIG-99?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12573481#action_12573481 ]

Ross Gardler commented on SHINDIG-99:
-------------------------------------

Now I experiment more with the gadget server I see that the samples are packaged in the war file. Thus this patch will break the samples if run on a different port.

It would therefore be better to just update the readme to tell users to run the server and retrieve the page via http://localhost:8080/gadgets/container/sample1.html etc

> The samples in the javascript/container directory do not work as described in the README.txt. the problem appears to be a restructuring of the directory structures.
> I'm not sure how to make this work from the filesystem as described in the README, however, I've managed to get sample 1 working when the gadget server is running. I'll get the others working like this and upload a patch as soon as I'm done.
