Many times, it'd be useful for traffic_logstats to exclude certain metrics / data which could (with some effort) be calculated by a collecting agent. Such as, percentage values, or totals / sums.

Doing this can reduce the number of metrics collected dramatically, without losing any data that can be recreated.
