Patches for saving timers 2/3

Hi,

I am absolute new to open source development.

I reconized that saving timers is not implemented. 
I have tried to do this and have attached the file
for GaussianRandomTimer.

If the implementation is not your standard please send me some hints 
how I can improve my skills.
