Release branch created

Folks!

I have just created the Slide 2.1 release branch:

Branch name: SLIDE_2_1_RELEASE_BRANCH
Tag on initial content to allow for easy merging: 
Root_SLIDE_2_1_RELEASE_BRANCH

All new features still go to the HEAD, bug fixes go to the release 
branch and - if appropriate - to the HEAD as well. This may require two 
seperate commits for a bug fix. The release branch will be used for the 
full release cycle beta->rc->final->maintenance.

Hope this makes sense and nothing is missing...
